Dear Members and Friends of the LFFPB/L&DPB,
Due to unforeseen circumstances, a difficult decision has been reached to cancel our planned 100th (+1) Anniversary
Celebration event which was scheduled to occur on Friday September 23rd (concert) and Saturday September 24th (gala dinner).
Rising costs of inflation and post pandemic weariness appear to be contributing factors to lower than expected ticket sales.
Planning is already underway to re-establish our popular annual Robbie Burns Gala event, which is expected to be held on
Saturday January 28th, 2023. Tickets already purchased for the cancelled 100th (+1) Anniversary Celebration event will
be accepted at the door for the Robbie Burns Gala in January. Otherwise ticket holders can email contact@lffpb.ca to arrange for a refund.
We sincerely regret the negative impact this may have on our patrons who have already purchased tickets for this event.
